I’m sorry for his family, and I will be as respectful as possible. but he was a mouth piece for the Bush adminastration and has been caught in bold face lies several times..but still his death is really shocking. R.I.P
isabella,
“…mouth piece for the Bush Administration”? He may have been caught in lies but you’ve got to be kidding.
Unless you’re one of those Bush haters (or worse, a 9-11 Troofer) who are so ate up with hate that anyone saying the name Bush on TV is a “mouth piece.”
I’m sorry for the loss and wish his family the best in these hard times.
Isabella,
This is from Wikipedia….He served as counselor in New York Governor Mario Cuomo’s office in Albany in 1983 to 1984 and was chief of staff to Democratic Senator Daniel Patrick Moynihan from 1977 to 1982.
Yeah, a real republican mouthpiece. Learn a thing or two about a person before you lambast them after they are dead. That’s real classy there Isabella.
What a shame that Isabella is the first poster. What a moron! I feel for his family and for our country. He brought the complexity of politics down to a level we could all understand and with complete fairness to all parties.
It was Russert who called South Carolina for Obama…we need to find out where the Clintons were today. (Hey, 9-11 Troofers, there’s a new conspiracy for ya!)
He was a great guy, made me want to belive that this country could pull it’s head out. My deepest sympathies go out to his wife and son. Good Journey Mr. Russert.
When you went on his show he was tough but fair no matter what your political party was. He was also the main witness against scooter libby. There is now more spin in politics now that he is gone
He always made an effort to be a fair journalist- something not enough of them do. He’ll be missed.
Tim Russert was one of the hardest working journalist
in his field, as the moderator of Meet The Press he was
tough and right down the center. Tim will be missed.
Liberals are angry folk.
I know one sure thing about this sucker and that’s he is a deserter.
Don Imus brought all his lame books to the top ten NY Times list and when Imus was in need of support Russert canceled out of the show. Stab a friend while he’s down, that’s so LOYAL. Hello? Dick Cheney was his best friend? Heart problems with no hearts.
Tim Russert was a great journalist. He was universally respected by both left and right wingers.
To call him a mouthpiece for the GOP is ignorant and at the time of his death no doubt. Typical immature, liberal hate. Not surprised.
Just turn on the TV….every freaking network that has a news branch is mourning his loss. You would think a President died. RESPECT…he had it.
tim who?
bring on the paris cellulite pics!
yeah.
