Paris Hilton inheritance slashed
Barron Hilton announced today that he’s donating 97% of his fortune to charity. In other words, Paris Hilton just lost tens of millions of dollars. In a statement to Fortune magazine, the Hilton family patriarch said:
“My personal net worth today, including created trusts, is approximately $2.3 billion, and what ever value it is upon my passing, it is my intent to contribute 97% of my estate to the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation, following in my father’s footsteps.”
What’s that? . . . Could it possibly be? . . . Is that just a *hint* of empathy for Paris I’m feeling deep in my stomach. It’s either that or the burrito I found behind the sink I ate for lunch. All well and good, but that still leaves nearly $77,000,000, and, depending on how disgusted he really is with his family/Paris, one of the ways to escape estate taxes is to make the heirs “employees” or “administrators” of the Foundation…
for which they would draw an annual salary.
Ummmm…..not to rain on your parade or anything, but 3% of 2.3 billion is still like $69 million, thats not exactly chump change
$69M is still a decent sum, even at 5% of tax-free growth per yr (what a tax-exempt muni bond would earn) it could grow even more. That’s not even taking into consideration assets that Rick & Kathy already have (in addition to their kids), plus other family members, etc. Lastly, Barron is 80 yrs old, he could live another 20 yrs before this even takes effect, by then Paris could be running the very Foundation where the money is headed.
Paris is a very good girl, I think that it doesn’t matter that his father wants to contribute with that 97%. I think that paris can get a lot of fortune too if she wants.
Like she is going to care much… of course, millions are millions, but she got her own way to make money, and she is going to marry some rich boy and waste his money….

As if this matters: 1. He aint giving it all away. 2. Paris has found plenty of ways to make her own scratch, or do I mean make others itch? 3. The guy is over 80, this is just begging for a competency hearing or a long drawn out legal battle after his death regarding his ability to make such a decision. 4. This is only his own personal wealth, it has nothing to do with the family business, and no i dont mean their straight to DVD business.

Well it’s not that funny, Paris might have just lost a tonload of money but she’s quite succesful apart from being dumb so she rakes in her own income anyway, we can’t say she’s been left with nothing that dumb b**** sells any old crap with her name on it.
