Keith Olbermann threw a fit last week because MSNBC didn’t get him a first class ticket to Tim Russert’s private memorial in Washington D.C. — and then because the Kennedy Center had the nerve to not have ketchup packets on hand. From the New York Post:
[Our] source said Olbermann was screaming into the phone on Tuesday because there were no first-class train tickets available for that day, and he wanted to make sure he would ride first-class on Wednesday. According to the source, Olbermann berated a staffer who was coordinating Wednesday’s Kennedy Center memorial by yelling, “You better hope to God there is a first-class train ticket tomorrow.”
We’re told Olbermann didn’t get to Tuesday’s ceremony, and went to Washington by car to broadcast from outside the Kennedy Center the next day. An aghast witness there said, “As guests were making their way into the memorial, Keith went apoplectic because there were no ketchup packets at the Kennedy Center.” Olbermann was heard saying outside the service, “this place is going to hell,” because his Washington staff couldn’t find ketchup packets for lunch at the Center. If Keith gets that angry over missing ketchup packets, just imagine how pissed off he’ll get when he finds out I’m banging his wife. Just kidding, she’s a pig. In all seriousness though, who does this asshole think he is? Tantrums like that are reserved for those that are more famous than Keith — people like Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, and me. I turns out that he never took a train there he actually took a cab and he ate at a restaraunt not at the kennedy center. Lets not forget page 6 attemting just last week to imply olberman had ed because of side effects of a new treatment for a disease olberman has had under control for over a decade. Olbermann will never have any opposing views on his show because no liberal talking heads ever do. That’s why Air America is constantly begging its viewers to give them money because all their smug sarcasm gets old without any real debate and everyone tunes out. Liberals can’t debate using logic, so they avoid that trap altogether. They like to have someone on who thinks with their feelings instead of their brains so that they can kiss each other’s asses for the entire segment and feel all good about themselves (that’s why Obama avoids debates with McCain because he’s only good at giving canned speeches where he uses the same 5 buzzwords and catchphrases over and over for the moron masses to swallow). And when someone makes a logical point that blows their irrational view out of the water, they just resort to branding them a “homophobe”, “racist”, “sexist”, “xenophobe”, etc. to make that pesky person quiet down.

I wanted to thank you for exposing the lunacy of the far left. I have struggled throughout the past couple of nights to watch your rediculous program. I now know that when people complain about the far-left broadcasting at MSNBC (and in the media as a whole), that you are the prototype of that problem. The fact that MSNBC, along with it’s parent company, would pay you to regurgitate the filth that you put on air every night is beyond me. I hold a degree in Accounting and an MBA. From my understanding, businesses are supposed to make money. The fact that you are on the air, defies the basic concept of how a business operates (I guess that is why MSNBC’s ratings are at an all-time low). For one, I do not understand how you can be so arrogant as to express your rediculous views about the “worst” people in the world. Do you seriously think that Rush Limbaugh and Tony Snow are worse than the people committing mass genocide in Darfur or the person who ignited a suicide-bomb in a marketplace in Baghdad? What about the thug that raped and murdered an innocent college student in my home town a couple of weeks ago? Second, I noticed that you never have anyone on your show that disagrees with you. That fact that you would bitch about President Bush having a bunch of “yes men”, when the premisis of your entire show revolves around celebrating your “perfect” analysis of the world is completely hypocritical. First, he wasn’t fired, he lost his position as an anchor for standing up for the thousands of people who lost friends and family on 9-11.
