Francis Speaks to the Media. Joe Francis of ‘Girls Gone Wild’ holds a press conference after appearing in court in Bay County. Francis plead no contest to child abuse and prostitution charges stemming from cases in 2003 where he was accused of videotaping underage girls in various states of undress for the ÔGirls Gone WildÕ series. The judge sentenced Francis to 339 days in, but gave him credit for time served for his pervious time in Bay County and Reno, Nevada jails. This resolves FrancisÕ legal problems in Florida but he still has to deal with federal tax evasion charges in Nevada.
