‘Girls Gone Wild’ creator Joe Francis is behind bars. Francis was arrested by police at Panama City airport in Florida on contempt of court charges. Francis had indicated he was willing to give himself up to the U.S Marshal’s Office, but the airport cops recognized him and took him into custody. Francis, 34, is now being held at the Bay County jail after his arrest on Tuesday morning. A Florida judge ordered last week that Francis was arrested, after he changed the terms of a settlement deal, People.com reports. Francis was sued in 2003 by seven women who accuse him of victimizing them by filming them in sexual situations while they were on holiday in Panama City. Francis had been ordered to surrender to authorities by 12pm last Thursday. But when he missed the court deadline a warrant for his arrest was reportedly issued. Francis has made an empire out of the ‘Girls Gone Wild’ videos, in which he gets young girls to expose themselves on camera. Francis has boasted of bedding some of Hollywood’s most famous party girls, including Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan and Tara Reid.
