At least she’s hot
Jessica Simpson played her first country concert on Saturday night at the “Country Thunder” festival in Randall, Wisconsin. And she sucked. Coming on stage to a mixture of cheers and boos, Simpson covered songs from Willie Nelson, Nancy Sinatra, and Shania Twain, while also singing a few of her pop hits. A local newspaper, The Kenosha News, interviewed a few audience members after the show:
“Just because she’s dating Tony Romo it doesn’t make her country,” said Mike Rodriguez, 31, from Lake Geneva. “She doesn’t fit in with country, and I’ll have to drink a lot of beer to sit through her concert.”
Zach Schlodt, 19, of Palatine, Ill., agreed. Simpson’s heart isn’t in country music, and she is just banking on the genre’s current popularity, he said. “She’s an embarrassment to country music,” he added.
“I just don’t hear the country in her; I don’t hear the twang. She’s not good enough to be here,” said Adam Matos, 21, from Arlington Heights, Ill.
“It’s crap,” said Ryan Sia, 28, from East Troy. “She doesn’t belong here.” (Source)
Trying to be someone you’re not never works out. Just ask Vanilla Ice (black), Al Reynolds (straight), and Eminem (black AND straight). Besides, dating a Cowboy doesn’t make you Southern, it just makes you gay.* I don’t know, maybe since she’s already got the hair and chest, Jessica was just trying to emulate country legend Dolly Parton. All she needs now is her very own amusement park . . . named Magic Mountains.

I don’t really listen to country, but both she and her stupid ass sister are just pathetic in the Entertainment Industry.
Isn’t it funny how she keeps repeating… I just want to be me for my talent and not have to impress people by being sexy or dressing a certain way… Yet, she damn sure made sure to show her ass and boobs again for her first country concert.
Carrie Underwood- Faith Hill- Martina McBride are sexy and wonderful singers that do not feel the need to dress like that. Sooo sad, her body is all she has!
