Jessica Alba is the new face of Declare Yourself, a nonpartison group trying to get "every eligible 18-year-old in America to register and vote in the presidential primaries and 2008 presidential election." Their first ad features a bound and gagged Jessica that's eerily similar to what I dream about most nights. Jessica told People:
"I think it is important for young people to be aware of the need we have in this country to get them more active politically. People respond to things that are shocking . . . If you don't register and vote and make a difference, and hopefully change the bad things that are happening in our country, you are essentially just binding and muzzling yourself." (Source)
Shhhhhhhhh, Jessica. I came at "binding." You don't need to continue.
Can we keep her like this, bound and GAGGED? Maybe she and all of the
other Politiwoods will keep their friggin opinions to themselves. Who
cares who they support, I sure as hell don't. It really pisses me off
that they use their prominence in the public eye to spew their crap.
Yeah, and it really pisses me off that the Palins put their pregnant, unwed 17-year-old daughter in the center of a national political convention to spew their crap.
