Hayden getting married?

Word on the street is Hayden Panettiere’s boyfriend, fellow Heroes star Milo Venitsomething, has been doing a little ring shopping. As you know, Hayden turned 18 last year while Milo, well Milo turned 18 in 1995. Yeah, that’ll last. From In Touch Weekly:

Don’t tell Hayden Panettiere, but her boyfriend, Milo Ventimiglia, is planning to propose! The actor, 31, recently confided to a friend that even though Hayden is only 18 years old, he wants to get engaged, preferably this year. “Milo was looking at rings in late June,” the pal says. “He really likes Cartier and intends to spend around $200,000.” Hayden and Milo, who met on the set of Heroes, reportedly began dating in January.

This story doesn’t make any sense. Why would a young Hollywood starlet even consider getting married unless she was knocked up, losing her looks, or completely desperate? Screw a wedding dress, at 18, the only kind of dress Hayden should be thinking about wearing is of the prom variety. Of course, in either case, I’d recommend a lacy red garter belt.
