Kikster says these are stills from a video a young Zooey Deschanel made for her boyfriend back when she was a freshman at Northwestern in 1998. The video's purpose, I'm not exactly sure. If she wanted to talk to him, she could have just called him. And it's not like he could show his friends how well Zooey's doing at school because she's not wearing any clothes. I don't think she put a lot of thought into this.
