Jay-Z and Beyoncé are married
Jay-Z and Beyoncé are probably married. Just days after obtaining a marriage license in Scarsdale, New York, the couple was married in a small private reception Friday in New York City. Friends and family of the couple were seen arriving to the rapper's Tribeca apartment for a reception later that night. There's been no official confirmation from the couple yet. A friend of the couple revealed to People magazine:
"It happened earlier [Friday] evening. Jay wanted it to be a really private affair – close friends and family."
As scheduled, Jay-Z performed in Greensboro, North Carolina on Saturday night, though he revealed no information about the wedding and wasn't seen wearing a ring. His co-headliner for the concert, Mary J. Blige, told the audience:
"Congratulations to my man, Jay-Z, and my girl B." (Source)
Uh oh, he's already not wearing his ring just a day after the wedding. That can't be good. After I was married, it took me a good six months until I started "forgetting" to wear my ring. In my defense, it is kind of awkward to show up for a blind date with a ring on.

Jay-Z and Beyonce getting married?
Jay-Z and Beyoncé obtained a marriage license in Scarsdale, N.Y., yesterday. The couple has 60 days to get married before the license expires. People magazine says:
Beyoncé, 26, and Jay-Z, 38, have been dating since 2002, though the couple have stood reluctant to discuss their relationship publicly. While the two have remained tight-lipped about the state of their romance, by no means has Beyoné brushed off talk of marriage. In December 2006, the singer told InStyle, "You can't rush a man into anything – whether it's a relationship, marriage or having children." (Source)
This just reeks of being a stunt for Ashton Kutcher's new prank show. And I'm totally cool with that. In fact stories like this are why I love his show. It gives me a chance to make fun of him almost every day. Britney Spears is pregnant? I bet Ashton's up to his no good hijinks again! Speaking of Ashton . . . I heard one time when he was three he started crying because he shit his pants at school. Ha ha ha, what a loser!

Did Brad and Angelina get married?
So did Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie get married over the weekend or not? Star magazine claims they did but both People and Us Weekly say they didn't. Star's claim:
Star can exclusively reveal that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, who are expecting twins this summer, tied the knot during an intimate wedding ceremony in the couple's adopted city of New Orleans, Louisiana on Saturday afternoon. As Star has reported, Brad had long wanted the ceremony to take place in the city devastated by Hurricane Katrina, while Angelina preferred a small, intimate ceremony in France. Clearly Brad won out as the planned ceremony took place in the French Quarter Wedding Chapel. The now husband and wife, along with their four children, are expected to return to Texas, where Brad is currently filming Tree of Life. (Source)

Despite reports that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt wedded in a New Orleans church Saturday, a source close to the couple tells PEOPLE there was "no wedding." (Source)
Us Weekly adds:
Online reports that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt tied the knot in New Orleans Saturday are "complete and total bullshit," a source tells Usmagazine.com. "Bottom line, they aren't even in New Orleans," the source tells Us. (Source)
Does this surprise anyone? There's only one place in the world where the typical wedding consists of a couple with one illegitimate child and two more on the way: Louisiana. If you need further proof that Louisiana is the birthplace of shotgun weddings, I present you with Exhibit A: Jamie Lynn Spears. Of course Exhibit B is their state motto: "Come as you are. Leave Different*."
