I've heard some bullshit spin before, but this is just ridiculous. "I'm expanding the definition of beauty" is just code for "I love cheeseburgers but don't like exercise." Tyra Banks told Life & Style that she's actually happy that she's getting fat:

"I'm proud of my curves and my butt and my bust and my thicker thighs. I didn't like myself that small [after I lost weight in 2006], so I gained back some weight," she tells Life & Style.

Now she stays active without obsessing and eats what she wants in moderation. In her new book, Modelland, out Sept. 13, Tyra says, "The message is really about expanding the definition of beauty."

This sounds exactly like the last time Tyra put on some weight. She went on and on about how "proud of her curves" she was and how she liked the extra pounds. Then a few months later she reappeared on her show all skinny again saying how unhealthy that extra weight had been. Which is it Tyra? You can't have your cake and eat it too -- that's what got you in this predicament in the first place. Mmmm, having cake and eating it, too . . .

A good way to get me to write about how awesome you are is to accuse another high profile female celebrity of being a man. Oh hey, guess what Janice Dickinson said about Tyra Banks. From AOL:

Speaking on Alan Carr's Chatty Man, the catty woman said: "I made [America's Next Top Model] a hit. Can you imagine for five seasons just sitting next to Miss Tyra Banks and listening to her go off? You could land a helicopter on her forehead. It's huge."

Janice admitted she got the boot from the show after calling Tyra "fat".

She continued: "She was huge! [Her legs] are huge. Well, she's a big woman. I used to think she was a man, I kept looking for... I was always looking, thinking, 'Something isn't right here'."

Tyra better not escalate this war of words into something physical. Janice has had so much plastic surgery, her face is practically stronger than Kevlar. Not many people know this, but Janice actually won a Toughman contest in Macon, Georgia last summer. She just never talks about it because she's so damn humble.

Late last month Tyra Banks announced that she was ending her talk show, Me Me Me Me Me Me The Tyra Banks Show, after the current season so she can focus more on her reality show America's Next Top Model as well as start a new production company. I hate to be so blunt here, but you dirty lying whore. That shit got canceled. From Janet Charlton's Hollywood:

Sure, she’d like you to think she’s walking away - but Tyra GOT CANCELLED. On Monday she called her staffers together for a meeting and made the announcement that the show was cancelled. Tyrannical Tyra does NOT treat her employees well like Oprah does- they were the last to know. She’s always given them chintzy Christmas gifts and this year they got pink slips. She told everyone to get their resumes together. An insider told us the show was cancelled simply because it cost too much - it never recovered financially from the move from LA to NY that Tyra insisted on, plus Tyra’s salary was huge.

Tyra's show was bound to fail. She just doesn't posses that one trait necessary for having a successful daytime television talk show: morbid obesity. Perhaps now Tyra will be forced to do what many other aging supermodels have done over the years when their looks faded and they were no longer able to work: marry a rich dude . . . and then divorce him.

Tyra Banks makes 30 million a year. Dollars, not yen. 30 million dollars. Damn, I knew I should have gone into supermodeling, not blogging. From Radar:

Forbes have released their prime time top earning women list and there's a few surprises in there! Heading up the list is Tyra Banks, with an estimated annual earnings of $30 million. Tyra earns the majority of her money from the hugely successful America's Next Top Model and her daytime talk show as well as various TV cameos.

Second on the list is Grey's Anatomy cutie Katherine Heigl earning $18 million for her turn as a TV doctor as well as her role as leading lady in films such as The Ugly Truth.

Sadly, watching Tyra become more and more successful does have one downside: her (fore)head will become even bigger than it already is.
