I wouldn't dress like that in prison

T.I. plead guilty to three federal weapons charges today and will spend a year in jail. Last year the rapper was arrested by federal agents -- just hours before the BET awards in Atlanta -- for trying to buy multiple machine guns and silencers (pictured below). The AP says:

In the year that he is awaiting sentencing, T.I., whose real name is Clifford Harris, must complete at least 1,000 hours of a total 1,500 hours of community service, talking to youth groups about the pitfalls of guns, gangs and drugs. (Source)

Call me crazy but is the guy that -- just a year ago -- owned the types of weapons you normally only see in Grand Theft Auto really the best person to be talking to kids about the dangers of guns? That's like getting me to preach to kids about the dangers of one night stands with supermodels.

T.I. is ready to protect his home

Here are the guns rapper T.I. was arrested for trying to buy over the weekend (as well as a few confiscated from his Atlanta home). The ATF is throwing around big words like "possession of firearms by a convicted felon" and "multiple felonies" but I say he was just exercising his second amendment right to bear an AK-47, Heckler & Koch MP5, AR-15, Springfield .45, Carbine 15, .44 Magnum, three machine guns, and two silencers. I swear, the founding fathers would be rolling over in their grave at this blatant denial of Constitutional rights.
