"Mel B hubby is wife beater" - That's the subtle name of today's article in the Mirror UK about Mel B's new husband, Stephen Belafonte. The paper did some digging into Belafonte's past and found that in 2003 the music producer was arrested after attacking his common-law wife Nicole Contreras in a "drunken fury." But it gets better. An ex-girlfriend of Belafonte's told the Mirror:

"[Stephen] never invited me over, never introduced me to his friends, never talked about his family. We met about two weeks after he broke up with the mother of his daughter. But he later told me that he was still sleeping with her throughout the whole time we dated. I knew in my gut something wasn't right about this guy. He was such a psycho and all-round weirdo."

The Mirror adds:

Three years before his arrest for attacking Nicole, Belafonte had a brush with the law after he was accused of assaulting two men. According to the initial charges, he threw a missile at their car on the highway. The charge was reduced after he agreed to plead guilty to vandalism and pay for the damage to the car. (Source)

Holy shit, guy threw a missile at a car. That's pretty impressive--I can barely lift those things over my head. This dude's like a hornier version of The Incredible Hulk. Wait, The Incredible Hulk used to beat up chicks, right?
