The late-night talk-show host and the bawdy object of his affection have separated after five funnybone-tickling, viral video-goofing years, E! News has confirmed.

Why stop with Britney's performance? I also blame Silverman for 9/11, the current housing slump, and possibly the Civil War. I'm still doing my math on that last one.
