Britney Spears' lawyers are asking a judge to order her ex-manager Sam Lutfi to pay all the legal fees associated with the permanent restraining order that was granted against him late last month. From People:

Lawyers for the singer asked a Los Angeles court last Friday to order Lutfi, who once was her manager, to pay $123,142 to cover Spears's legal fees for the courtroom battle over the restraining order. A judge has yet to sign off on the request.

The worst part about this punishment for Sam? He'll have to live with the fact that every dime he gives Britney will go directly to K-Fed's stomach. If Sam is indeed hit with the $123,000 judgment, he better find himself a way to come up with the cash fast. My suggestion: find another person that's easily manipulated and willing to give you all of their money -- you know, like a retiree. I'm dating four of them right now.

A "permanent" restraining order was issued against Britney's ex-manager Sam Lutfi yesterday by an L.A. judge. Lutfi is barred from contacting Spears and coming within 100 feet of her home, work, car, or family until April 28, 2012. A temporary restraining order was issued against Lutfi earlier this year. The Spears camp, headed up by dad Jamie, has been looking to keep Lutfi out of Britney's life for nearly 15 months, since her father was appointed coconservator of her affairs and Lutfi admitted to medicating Britney by crushing up pills in her food.

Lutfi had originally agreed to lay low but ultimately fired back in February with a defamation suit, accusing the Spears family of dragging his name through the mud.

Amazing that Sam had the balls to sue for defamation after admitting that he used to medicate Britney by crushing up pills in her food. That'd be like Jeffrey Dahmer suing me for calling him a monster. I think you give up the right to be defamed once you've sauteed someone's heart in herbs and butter.

The sister of Britney Spears' former manager Sam Lutfi testified yesterday that she snuck the pop star a cell phone in mid-January so Britney could contact her brother and have him help her get out of the conservatorship she's under. Britney's dad is in court this week attempting to get the restraining order against Sam Lutfi made permanent. From People:

"[Britney] told me she wanted to get a hold of Sam," said Christina, 25, whose brother had once been Spears's manager. "She wanted him to help her find a lawyer, and wanted someone to get a prepaid cell phone to her. She was scared because her father was blackmailing her with visitation rights over her kids."

Spears allegedly told Christina to meet her on the fifth floor gym of the Peninsula Hotel on Jan. 16. When Christina arrived, Spears was working out with her mother while a bodyguard stood nearby. But they rendezvoused in a sauna where Christina gave her a phone, saying it was from Sam and ex-boyfriend Adnan Ghalib, which Spears then hid in a locker. "She asked me, 'Will Sam be able to help me?'" Christina added. The phone, however, was later discovered by Spears's security team and confiscated from her purse. (Source)

So basically Britney's life has turned into a James Bond movie. Blackmailing, secret rendezvous, crayon-eating . . . wait, did James Bond ever eat crayons? No? OK, then maybe Britney's life isn't exactly like his.

Britney Spears' dad Jamie was in court yesterday trying to get the temporary restraining order against former manager Sam Lutfi and ex-boyfriend Adnan Ghalib made permanent. Jamie revealed to the judge that Britney's been making secret phone calls to the two on a prepaid cell phone. From AP:

Jamie Spears said he did not know if the pair talked then or since. He said Lutfi had called Spears on other phones and tried to relay a "Merry Christmas" message through the singer's hairdresser and get her to call him.

He said the call from his daughter to Lutfi was found on a prepaid cell phone that his security detail confiscated from the singer last month. The phone listed the phone numbers of Adnan Ghalib, a paparazzo who once dated the singer, and Lutfi.

Jamie Spears testified his daughter told him the phone was given to her at a hotel by someone who said it was from Lutfi and Ghalib. The singer has a cell phone, but her father said he controls her access to it. (Source)

Wow, Britney's life sounds fun. Imprisoned in her own house by Warden Jamie, isolated from her friends, a security detail searching her for contraband. It's just like one of those old timey prison movies. Maybe Adnan can bake her a cake and hide a hacksaw in it so she can bust out. "Pssst, Adnan, Brit Brit needs a new hacksaw 'cuz she done broke it trying to saw off the 'weight loss chain' daddy has locked around the fridge."

I didn't think you could look like any bigger of a slimeball. Way to prove me wrong by suing the woman whose career you helped destroy. From TMZ:

Sam Lutfi has filed a lawsuit against Britney Spears and her parents for libel, defamation, battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress and breach of contract. According to the papers, Sam claims Jamie and Lynn "launched a campaign of lies and intimidation designed to destroy Lutfi and drive him out of Britney's life."

All the claims of libel and defamation spring from Lynne's book, "Through the Storm." Lutfi says since the publication of the book, he "has been subjected to unfathomable amounts of ridicule and public scorn."

Lutfi also claims Britney broke a contract with him and owes him unpaid management fees. He claims he had an oral agreement with Spears to be her manager for four years, earning 15% commission. (Source)

So Sam's suing Britney because she reneged on an oral agreement? Did he miss that whole thing about Britney not being mentally fit to make decisions for herself? I don't think the judge is gonna care what she told him. Dude, Britney made an oral agreement with bacon last year. I'm not sure what they agreed on but I bet it was something delicious.

Britney Spears' father Jamie has filed a restraining order against Britney's former manager Sam Lutfi and boyfriend Adnan Ghalib, alleging the two have been conspiring to disrupt the control he has over his daughter's estate and affairs. Both men are now forbidden from contacting Spears or coming within 250 feet of her, her property or family members. From People:

Spears's father says her cell phone records show "numerous telephone conversations" and text messages with her ex-manager Sam Lutfi and former boyfriend, paparazzo Adnan Ghalib.

"[Britney] innocently informs [Ghalib] of her destinations and that he then arranges for paparazzi to meet and film her to his financial benefit," Jamie Spears says. "[He] is harmful to Ms. Spears and to her recovery."

Her father also alleges that on Dec. 27 and 28, 2008, Lutfi tried to contact Britney through her hairdresser with the message that Lutfi was not responsible for creating the conservatorship.

He allegedly sent a text message to the hairdresser saying, "I've done everything I can to free her from this. Very close to getting her free now." (Source)

No no no, this can't be true. Britney wouldn't contact those two relics from her troubled past. She's back. MTV told me. "Britney's back!", they said. She conquered mental illness and she has the album sales to prove it. Her dad's even forcing her to go She's even going on tour. Lies, these are all lies spread by those afraid of Britney's provocative lyrics and suggestive dance moves. Well hip-gyrating is here to stay dammit. You're just gonna have to deal with it.

ore details are coming to light about the restraining order filed against Britney Spears' friend/manager Sam Lutfi last week. Britney's mom Lynne gave a declaration to the court in which she described Sam's control over her daughter:

"Sam had told Britney that she was an unfit mother, a piece of trash and a whore, that she cares more about Adnan, her current boyfriend, than she cares about her kids, and that she does not deserve the kids . . . [At one point, Britney] picked up a bottle of pills and read part of the label and asked us, 'What does insomnia mean?' Sam told her that the pills will help her stay awake. Sam told Jackie and me that he grinds up Britney's pills, which were on the counter and included Risperdal (an anti-psychotic drug for schizophrenia and bipolarity) and Seroquel. He told us that the doctor who is treating her now is trying to get her into a sleep-induced coma so that they could then give her drugs to heal her brain." (Source)

And that's only the tip of the iceberg. At one point Sam allegedly told Lynne "If you try to get rid of me, [Britney will] be dead and I'll piss on her grave." Holy shit this is just like a soap opera. The only things missing are a sex change, a faked death, and an underage sibling pregnancy. Actually maybe not that last one -- the storyline has to be somewhat believable . . . or maybe it can just be aired on the CW. No viewers = no criticism!
