Ryan O'Neal is in deep shit. The actor, best know for his role on the soap opera Peyton Place, was arrested at his Malibu Home over the weekend and charged with assault with a deadly weapon and negligent discharge of a firearm. The victim? His son Griffin's 22-year-old girlfriend Joanne Berry. According to reports:
Griffin O'Neal was not injured, but Joanne received "minor injuries," Sgt. Ken Crocker said last night. Deputies went to Ryan's Malibu beach house at about 12:30 a.m. after a caller stated that Griffin O'Neal and Berry had allegedly been attacked by the elder O'Neal. He said Ryan was released from jail at 5:30 a.m. yesterday after posting $50,000 bail.
WTF? Residents of Malibu aren't supposed to fight with guns, they're supposed to slap and scratch and throw packets of money at each other. Guns are for poor people. Like stoplights.
