Quentin Tarantino just wants some peace and quiet

I don't know how I missed this last week, but Quentin Tarantino is suing his Hollywood Hills neighbor because his birds won't shut the fuck up. Seriously birds, just shut the fuck up. For, like, a minute. Please. From The Telegraph:

Tarantino, 47, lives next to Alan Ball, 53, who won an Oscar for writing the 1999 movie American Beauty, and also created the US television series Six Feet Under and True Blood.

According to a six-page lawsuit filed by Tarantino in Los Angeles County Superior Court, Ball and his partner Peter Macdissi have installed an "exotic bird menagerie" which has been driving the Pulp Fiction director to distraction for more than a year.

His complaint alleges: "On a daily basis the defendants' macaws, large tropical birds known for their loud squawks and screams, are placed in an outdoor aviary where they emit blood-curdling screams at random intervals for seven to eight hours each day.

"Nearly every day Mr Tarantino and others in his home are subjected to the macaws' obnoxious pterodactyl-like screams, which are not only startling, but have also seriously disrupted Mr Tarantino's ability to work as a writer in his home.

You see, this is the exact reason [besides being incredibly poor] why I don't live next to "eccentric" rich people. They've always got some weird and annoying hobby like collecting macaws or adopted children. That's why I live in the slums. Here, the only things you have to worry about your neighbor collecting are cans and welfare checks.
