Montel Williams threatens 17-year-old girl
"Former" (quadruple emphasis on "former") celebrity Montel Williams threatened to kill a 17-year-old high school student over the weekend because of a question she asked during an interview. Working for the Savannah Morning News, the high school intern was assigned to cover the talk show host's visit to the city. She asked a question he didn't like and Williams stormed off. The Savannah Morning News adds:
Then later, when Ms. Scott was at the Westin hotel doing a feature about gingerbread houses, Mr. Williams and his bodyguard walked up to the young student and angrily confronted her. According to Ms. Scott and two witnesses, Mr. Williams threatened to find and "blow up" the residences of the intern and two reporters with her. Ms. Moore filed a police report late Saturday, but not because a celebrity acted like a jerk. No one, whether a "big star," as Mr. Williams claimed to be, or a no-name street person, has a right to threaten bodily harm on another. (Source)
I love how Montel threatened to kill her while she was in the middle of reporting on a story about gingerbread houses. Now that is how you revive a career! You know Oprah's big break came after she threatened to knife a reporter interviewing one of those Salvation Army holiday bell ringers. I believe her exact words were: "I'll fuckin' gut you!"
NOTE: According to my exclusive inside sources, the question that set off Montel was: "Mr. Williams, how do you spell M.S.?" That, or "Do you plan on suing Propecia for false advertising?" Either way, another little known fact about Montel is that his birth name is really Osama bin Williams which might explain his proclivity towards explosives, poor hygiene, and man-on-goat love.
