Rev. Jesse Jackson is urging the public to boycott the seventh season DVD of "Seinfeld," which features uber-racist Michael Richards as Jerry Seinfeld's next door neighbor. Following Richards anti-black rant at the Laugh Factory in Los Angeles, the DVD experienced a spike in sales. I don't really understand this boycott considering Jesse Jackson's primary audience is black people. Last time I checked, black people never watched Seinfeld (might have something to do with the fact that, during the entire series run, I don't think a black person ever had a speaking role). This is equivalent to Pat Robertson urging white guys to boycott Moesha.

Here's another story I had ready before my server crashed. Act like it's new and we'll avoid the moment of awkward silence when you realize it's from last week:
Michael Richards will apologize to the four black men he insulted a week ago at the Laugh Factory. A retired judge will be on hand to mediate the meeting and determine if any other action is necessary to resolve...$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$. Oops, sorry about that, my keyboard got stuck there for a second. Weird that all those dollar signs came up....
"My client Michael hopes to put it behind him," Richards' spokesman Howard J. Rubenstein said. A time and place for the meeting has not been set. Rubenstein complimented attorney Gloria Allred, who is representing the four comedy club patrons, for recommending the meeting. Allred said Richards should meet with her clients "to hear the pain that he inflicted on them and to apologize to them." She and the four men were scheduled to hold a press conference later Friday.
I'm still having trouble figuring out why these guys think they deserve money. All Kramer did was yell some racially insensitive things at them. Hell, I do that all the time, especially at those annoying girl scouts knocking on my door trying to sell me their cookies. They always come to my house at the worst times, too. Just the other day, I was watching Carl Winslow give some sage advice to his son Eddie about the fickle nature of life when I heard them outside. GOD DAMMIT BITCHES, DON'T KNOCK ON MY DOOR WHEN server crashed. Act like it's new and we'll avoid the moment of awkward silence when you realize it's from last week:

The owners of the Laugh Factory in Los Angeles are demanding that Michael Richards give $6 million dollars to charity to make amends for his racist outburst last week:
According to The Insider, The Laugh Factory owners, who have now banned the 'N' word from the venue, want Richards to pay $6 million to charity for the six derogatory words he used on their stage. Richards, who claims to be seeing a psychiatrist in an effort to control his rage problems, is hoping to meet with the two African-Americans he racially abused from The Laugh Factory stage.
The Laugh Factory owners didn't really have to ban use of the 'N' word at their club. It's an unspoken rule in American society not to use that word. It's like the manager of a Starbucks warning you not to start a campfire inside of the store. Or the owner of a movie theatre posting signs all over the place that say Please No Laughing During This Adam Sandler Movie. Sane people already know not to do those two things.

America's zaniest racist, Michael Richards, appeared on the Rev. Jesse Jackson's radio show a few days ago to say he was sorry for last week's racist tirade at a Los Angeles comedy club. The man best known as Kramer from Seinfeld said he felt "shattered" by his actions towards a group of African-American hecklers who attended his Nov. 17 act at the Laugh Factory:
"The way this came through me was like a freight train," Richards said on Jackson's nationally syndicated program, "Keep Hope Alive. After it was over, when I went to look for them, they had gone," he said of the targets of his tasteless tirade. "And I've tried to meet them, to talk to them, to get some healing."Richards said he hopes his words won't influence young people.
"I fear that young whites will think it's cool to go around and use that word because they see very cool people in the show business using that word so freely," Richards said. "Perhaps that's what came through in that ... the vernacular is so accessible."
I like how Kramer thinks his words might influence 'young whites' to start acting racist. That might be a concern if these 'young whites' knew who the hell Michael Richards was. As far as they know, he's the funny looking guy on that show their parents used to watch. In other words, he's not relevant and 'young whites' couldn't give a crap about what he says. It's analogous to members of the local Civil War club being concerned that their yearly 'Battle of Antietam' reenactment contributes to inner-city violence.

Michael Richards, formerly Kramer on the hit show Seinfeld, went on a racial attack against one of his audience members Friday at the West-Hollywood comedy club 'Laugh Factory'. Kyle Doss, the target of Richards' verbal assault, explains to the TMZ that he was playfully heckling Richards when the comedian simply lost it:
The camera started rolling just as Richards began his attack, screaming at one of the men, "Fifty years ago we'd have you upside down with a f***ing fork up your ass." Richards continued, "You can talk, you can talk, you're brave now motherf**ker. Throw his ass out. He's a n*gger! He's a n*gger! He's a n*gger! A n*gger, look, there's a n*gger!" The crowd is visibly and audibly confused and upset. Richards responds by saying, "They're going to arrest me for calling a black man a n*gger."
Reporters traveled to Richards' home on Sunday seeking a statement but were rebuffed by the Fire Marshall, who instructed everyone to stay at least 50 feet away from the giant burning cross on Richards' lawn.
