Apparently producers for the Golden Globes were “less than pleased” with Maria Menounos’ backstage interviews during the show. According to one insider, producers “were getting antsy” watching Menouonos interview the winners as they walked off stage with one allegedly saying, “She’s just terrible.” The New York Post has more:

Other insiders snickered that Menounos thinks of herself as a celebrity and is more interested in walking the red carpet than in covering it. A rep for Menounos said, "This is not true."

Maybe these producers didn’t understand that Maria isn’t a “real” correspondent, she’s just a hot piece of ass. She’s not supposed to ask interesting questions, she’s supposed to just stand there and let viewers have impure thoughts about her. Any complete sentences she manages to form should be viewed as a pleasant bonus. I could go to a pudding-wrestling match between a naked Osama Bin Laden and George Bush and, if she was the MC, I’d just stare at her tits the whole night.
