Lindsay Lohan leaving Izaka-ya restaurant in West Hollywood (11/9)

Was Lindsay Lohan secretly dating Heath Ledger when he died last January? According to a recorded phone call between Michael and Dina Lohan that Michael sold to RadarOnline, yes, yes she was. Back in 2007 when Lindsay was still hot, it was rumored the two were getting it on. I'm sure in Lindsay's warped mind, Heath occasionally calling her at 3AM to come blow him counts as "dating." From RadarOnline:
"And she was dating Heath when he died," Dina reveals to Michael. "I don't know if you know that, but I know cause I would drop her off and they were friends very, very close, ok?"

Dina told Michael about the relationship because she was afraid for Lindsay's life too: "Because when she's drunk or takes an Adderall with it she will do something like Heath Ledger did in a second without thinking."

She said that the actor's death was a terrible shock to Lindsay. "That fucked her up," Dina says.

In the 2008 call, Dina discusses how desperate the situation was for her daughter. "She cannot be alone," Dina tells Michael. "When she sleeps here she sleeps with me... she has fears from being little and what you did to us."

*ring* *ring* . . . *ring* *ring*

Lindsay: "Hello?"

Heath: "Hey Lindsay."

Lindsay: "FUCK YOU, I TOLD YOU BILL COLLECTORS TO TALK TO MY FUCKING LAWYER!"

Heath: "No, no, it's Heath! I'm having trouble falling asleep, can you recommend anything?"

Lindsay: "Of course I can. By chance do you have any oxycodone, hydrocodone, diazepam, temazepam, alprazolam and doxylamine on hand? That always works for me."

Heath Ledger's insurance company playing hardball
Heath Ledger's life insurance company playing hardball

ReliaStar Life Insurance is refusing to pay the $10 million death benefit on Heath Ledger's insurance policy because they believe the actor committed suicide. Ledger's death was officially ruled an accident by the Chief Medical Examiner of New York. A trial date has been set for Aug. 4, 2009, where ReliaStar will argue their case. William Shernoff, the attorney representing the trust for Ledger's daughter Matilda told the New York Daily News:

“We think [ReliaStar] is acting in bad faith. The official report ruled it was an accidental death.” (Source)

I think a compromise between the two parties is in order and here it is: ReliaStar should fuck off. The end.

Heath Ledger case closed

Feds close Heath Ledger investigation

Federal investigators have officially closed the investigation into the death of Heath Ledger. The results? . . . dramatic pause . . . Mary-Kate Olsen is being charged with attempted murder! Just kidding. No charges were filed against anyone. The Associated Press says:

Prosecutors in the U.S. attorney's office in Manhattan had been overseeing a Drug Enforcement Administration probe into whether the painkillers found in Ledger's system were obtained illegally. But the prosecutors have bowed out "because they don't believe there's a viable target," said the official, who spoke on condition of anonymity because no charges have been filed.

The decision comes after recent reports that actress Mary-Kate Olsen was demanding immunity before answering questions about the startling death of her close friend and his drug use. Authorities say she was the first person called by a masseuse who found the 28-year-old "Dark Knight" actor's lifeless body in his Manhattan apartment.

The DEA had obtained a subpoena that could have forced Olsen if she continued to hold out. But the subpoena, issued in April, is no longer valid because it was contingent upon prosecutors pursuing the case, the official said Wednesday. The official added that the case could still be revived if evidence of a crime emerges. (Source)

No viable target? What about the chick that's demanding immunity before she testifies. What about her? Call it a crazy hunch, but I think she just may be hiding something.

Heath Ledger has a secret love child

Heath Ledger had a secret love child

Heath Ledger's family believes he may have fathered a "secret love child" in 1997. Heath was 17 and still attending the Guildford Grammar school when he began an affair with a 25-year-old (!). After the two broke up, the unnamed woman discovered she was pregnant (it's unclear if she ever told Ledger the news). The late actor's uncle Hadyn Ledger told Sydney's Daily Telegraph:

"She had the baby. Everyone lived under the assumption that she was the daughter of the mother's boyfriend and that is how she has been brought up. There is a very real possibility that Heath was the father." (Source)

So this 25-year-old was Heath's teacher right? Because 20/20 and Dateline have taught me that chicks that old don't bang 17-year-olds unless they're also grading their papers. I think it has something to do with all the spelling errors. So fucking hot.

FACT: Before his death, Heath's next big role was an appearance on Maury Povich

Heath Ledger was broke at the time of his death

Australia's Daily Telegraph claims that Heath Ledger was worth only $145,000 at the time of his death:

[Heath's] 2003 will names Ledger's father, mother and sisters as the only beneficiaries . . . "the total value of their shares of the estate will be $145,000'', with furniture and fixtures worth $20,000, a Toyota Prius worth $25,000 and $100,000 in miscellaneous bank accounts. (Source)

So Heath wasn't driving a Prius to save the environment, he was doing it to save money on gas? Sounds about right. I bought my Prius for the exact same reason. I couldn't care less about the environment, I just hate $4 gas. Last week I used my Prius to help clean out my garage. You'd be surprised at how many cans of paint thinner you can fit in the trunk. Plus the easy lift hatch makes for more convenient dumping at the local river. Thanks Toyota!

Heath Ledger’s death was an accident

Heath Ledger's death was an accident

The New York City medical examiner just ruled that Heath Ledger's death was an accident resulting from the "abuse of prescription medications." Five different medications were found at Ledger's apartment including anti-anxiety medications Xanax, Valium, and Ativan; and sleeping medications Lunesta and Restoril. He was basically a walking medicine cabinet without the cough syrup, roofies, and binding rope. What? Don't look at me like that. Doesn't everyone have cough syrup in their medicine cabinet?

Heath Ledger was educated

Mary's Mount Primary School in Perth, Australia

The Heath Ledger line that is. Above is a pic of his middle school -- his fucking middle school. The pics were exclusively available this morning from one of the paparazzi agencies I use. Ridiculous . . . BTW, keep your eyes peeled on the site all week. I'm in negotiations to acquire some pics of a water fountain Heath walked by last year and a wax reproduction of an apple he once thought about buying. What a coup!

Heath Ledger was an addict

Heath Ledger had a big time drug problem

The elephant in the room that most of the media seems to be glossing over is that Heath Ledger had a big time problem with drugs. Entertainment Tonight killed a video they reportedly bought for $200k that showed Ledger snorting coke at the Chateau Marmont in 2006. A member of Ledger's entourage told the New York Post that cocaine and heroin broke up the star's marriage to Michelle Williams:

"[Michelle] couldn't take it any more. Heath wouldn't show up for two to three days, and all of a sudden he would show up on her doorstep, an absolute wreck. He was partying, doing drugs. She didn't like the company he was keeping. She gave him an ultimatum. . . . and threatened to get custody of [their daughter Matilda]. He wanted to make it work, but it was this scene he was wrapped up in. Was he an addict? Yeah. He was hanging out with a bad crowd. He wasn't cleaning up his act. He was making absolutely no effort . . . He was really into heroin. He wasn't sleeping or communicating with anyone." (Source)

I can't really blame Heath. Coke and heroin are an absolute bitch. Drove me out of competitive scrapbooking. To tell you the truth I don't miss it . . . except for Nationals. God what a thrill.

Mary Kate Olsen called instead of 911

Mary Kate Olsen called instead of 911

The masseuse (Diana Wolozin) who discovered Heath Ledger’s body on Tuesday made three calls to Mary-Kate Olsen before calling 911. After paramedics arrived, she made a fourth call. Us Weekly says:

Police originally said Wolozin made two calls to Olsen for guidance, but they upped the number to four after taking a closer look at Ledger's phone records, the AP reports. Wolozin (who is not listed on the New York State Education Department's Web site, which tracks licensed health care professionals) knew that Olsen's number was programmed into Ledger's phone.

Both the New York Post and New York's Daily News reported that Olsen and Ledger had been dating. (Source)

And now a very special Celebslam reenactment:

FIRST CALL:

Ring...

Mary-Kate: Hello?

Masseuse: Hello? Mary-Kate? I just found Heath in his bed and he's not moving.

Mary-Kate: And?

Masseuse: Well, he's not moving and I'm scared. I think -

Mary-Kate: Call me back when it's something important.

SECOND CALL:

Ring...

Mary-Kate: Hello?

Masseuse: He's still not moving and he's covered in pills. I'm scared and -

Mary-Kate: What did I say?! Call me when it's something important!

Masseuse: But-

THIRD CALL:

Ring...

Mary-Kate: What is it now?! I said only if it's important!

Masseuse: But I thought you should know there's a slice of delicious carrot cake still in the fridge with frosting and-

Mary-Kate: What?!!! Holy Shit! Call 9-11 immediately!

FOURTH CALL:

Ring...

Mary-Kate: Hello?

Masseuse: Heath's been pronounced dead.

Mary-Kate: And the cake?

Masseuse: I ate it.

Mary-Kate: Oh thank god. THAT was a close one. Can you do me a favor and wash the inside of that fridge out with bleach?
