Dog didn’t know

Duane “Dog the Bounty Hunter” Chapman pleads ignorance
Duane “Dog the Bounty Hunter” Chapman sat down with Fox News’ Hannity & Colmes last night in his first interview since the infamous audio tape of him unleashing a racist tirade against his son’s African American girlfriend was leaked to the public. With a straight face, Dog told Hannity (5:45 mark on the video below):
“I thought that I was cool enough in the black world to be able to use that word as a brother to a brother. I’m not. I didn’t really know until three or four days ago what that meant to black people . . . I never realized that that’s like stabbing a black person in the heart.”
Yelling fire in crowded theatre–not OK. Stealing candy from a baby–generally frowned upon. Making bomb jokes at the airport–don’t do that. Speeding in a school zone–again, try not to do that. Calling in a death threat against the President–to be avoided. Anybody got anymore? I figure we should get a list going for Dog. Ooh–during the summer you shouldn’t leave a baby in a car with the windows rolled up–that’s a good one.
