An international arrest warrant has been issued for an 41-year-old Austrian woman accused of stalking David Caruso. The woman was supposed to stand trial for stalking and threatening to kill Caruso, but didn't show up. She faces three years in jail if convicted. From IMDB:
The woman is alleged to have bombarded Caruso with more than 100 letters in her attempt to get the TV star's autograph. But when her repeated requests were snubbed, the suspect reportedly threatened the life of Caruso and his then-girlfriend Lisa Marquez in another letter.A 2007 letter posted to the actor, said to be from the suspect, read: "I will locate you and your ugly Latina tramp and kill you." A publicist planted this story, right? No way in hell David Caruso is popular enough to get stalked. He's not even that good of an actor. I've seen CSI: Miami. It seems like he's parodying a really bad actor in every episode. You should see what kind of looks I get from my girlfriend when he's at a rape scene and I burst out laughing. If the world was fair, Keanu Reeves and him would be working construction right now.
