The Annual Costume Institute Gala was last night at the The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, and a ton of hot ass showed up. Pretty much anyone who's anyone was there. According to the New York Post, "the claws are out" among supermodel Irina Shayk, Anne V, Julie Henderson, Christine Teigen, and Brooklyn Decker over getting the cover of the upcoming Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. Also, "my pants are off"...

Any model who wants to make herself a brand knows this is what you need to do," said one fashion insider.Brooklyn Decker was perfect because she's "all-American, gives great interviews and is married to a celebrity sportsman"? These "fashion insiders" are sadly mistaken if they think that most guys want to see a girl on the cover of SI who's media savvy and a great public speaker. S.I. keeps the cover under lock and key until Monday's announcement. But insiders said editors consider market research on which lady gets the best response from a sample of readers.
