Busta Rhymes DUI PWN3D

Busta Rhymes was busted early this morning in New York City for DUI. Officers pulled over the 34-year-old rapper for excessive tinted windows on his 2006 GMC Yukon Denali. When they approached his car, Busta had a "strong odor of alcohol on his breath." According to NYPD spokesman Detective John Sweeney:

When they asked him to present his paperwork, "he dropped his wallet to the ground" while showing it to the officers. Police administered a field sobriety test and Sweeney said Rhymes blew a .147, which is above the .08 legal limit in New York. The officers arrested Rhymes for the misdemeanor crime of driving while impaired. At press time, Rhymes was still in central booking awaiting an appearance in front of a judge later in the day Thursday. (Source)

Of course Busta is no stranger to trouble in New York City. He was pulled over and given a ticket in November for using his cell phone while driving. Yup, cell phone and tinted windows. Out of the three pussiest things you can get a ticket for, those rank as the top two. Maybe next week Busta can complete the trifecta and get pulled over for playing his Michael Bolton-Kenny G mashup CD too loud.

Busta Rhymes given a cell phone ticket New York City

Busta Rhymes was given a ticket late last week when New York City cops caught him using his cell phone while driving, which was recently made illegal in that state. Busta (aka Trevor Smith) was spotted on the phone as he cruised past the Midtown North police station on W. 54th St. about 7p.m., cops said.

Is this what New York has come to, they're now busting people for talking on cell phones? It seems like just the other day when you couldn't walk through Times Square without "accidentally" picking up a hooker or three. And then "mistakingly" writing it off as a business expense. I still maintain that wasn't enough justification to get fired.
