Lynne Spears almost named her autobiography It's All My Fault, because she felt she was to blame for her daughter Britney's meltdown last year. Lynne made the revelation, among others, to the Daily Mail over the weekend:
"I can laugh about it now, but did I feel that way at the time? Yes, I did and, if I'm being totally honest, I still do . . . Yes, I did worry that [Britney might commit suicide]. I couldn't see Britney, and you worry more when you're looking at things from a distance. When I started seeing her again, I felt more reassured. She told me that, as bad as life can get, she still likes life too much to consider ending it . . . I'm so proud of Britney. She's been through a tough time and look at her now. That's my baby - and she's back" (Source)
Awww, the level of caring and concern in this interview makes me all warm and fuzzy inside. You know how you can tell Lynne really cares? She's pushing Britney right back into the thing that caused her meltdown and near suicide in the first place. Britney's back and nothing could possible go wrong! Weeeeeeeeeeee!

Cindy Crawford gets tipsy for Darfur
Along with Scarlett Johannson, Bono, the Edge, Guy Ritchie, and George Clooney, Cindy Crawford did her part to stop the genocide in Darfur by getting drunk at a benefit in London last night. WENN says she didn't get back to her hotel until 3:40 AM. Amazingly, Cindy's night wasn't done -- she attended another benefit in her bathroom where she puked into the toilet for human rights in Tibet. So selfless.

If you're like me you look at the occasional pics I post of Shauna Sand standing outside Hollywood clubs in her lucite skank boots and wonder if she maintains the same level of class while inside the club. Well wonder no more. From this week's National Enquirer:
D-list actress Shauna Sand tried to turn Villa in West Hollywood into a mini-strip club on Nov. 13. The former Playmate -- and Lorenzo Lamas' ex -- hit the dance floor with her trademark Plexiglass platforms and proceeded to grind on a club patron while pulling up her dress and showing off her breasts. The night was way more low key than her last wild trip to Tenjune in 2007 when she got her thong grabbed and was making out with random dudes. Even though Britney wore that amazingly low-cut dress, she didn't slip a nip once. We can thank her dad Jamie for that. Last week he had Britney's nipples surgically removed to prevent future embarrassment. Her vagina has also been smoothed over with a large flesh-colored piece of plastic. She's a lot like a Barbie doll now.
