the Eliot Spitzer prostitution scandal last year. Well she hasn't gone away. In fact, music mogul Russell Simmons has taken a "special" interest in her. From

Russell Simmons has taken Ashley Dupre under his wing and he’s “mentoring” her career. (Friends suspect there’s more than “mentoring” going on, but that’s a matter of opinion.) For whatever reason, Simmons, after meeting Ashley in a yoga class, has decided to help her develop a singing career. So he says. Not only that, but he’s trying to sell an Ashley Dupre reality show to either E! or MTV where he has connections.
What an admirable gesture by Russell to take an ex-whore under his wing. The man is a true humanitarian. In order to get her singing voice up to par, I wouldn't be surprised if he's working on throat exercises with her daily. Of course Ashley's newfound vocal talent is no surprise to former Governor Spitzer -- he already knew she could use her mouth to make money. *rimshot* . . . or perhaps more appropriately, *rimjob*
Ashley Dupre already did Girls Gone Wild
You wanna know how big of a whore call girl/governor destroyer Ashley Dupre is? Girls Gone Wild owner Joe Francis offered her $1 million to do a non-nude photo spread and interview for their new magazine. Turns out she had already done some "work" for them a few years ago. During a visit to Miami in 2003 to celebrate her 18th birthday, Dupre was thrown out of her hotel. Luckily the Girls Gone Wild bus took her in for a week . . . and this led to that . . . yada yada yada . . . Ashley ended up filming seven full-length tapes including some hot girl on girl action. The Associated Press says:
Francis said someone had a revelation at the Tuesday morning staff meeting: Did anyone think to check the archives? They did, he said — and there she was."It'll save me a million bucks," Francis told The Associated Press on Tuesday. "It's kind of like finding a winning lottery ticket in the cushions of your couch. We actually had been dealing with her rep. Our (offer) was the real deal. We just never made the connection."
Employees got to work on pulling the footage and planned to offer it all on the Web site — with a $29.95 monthly subscription. (Source)
If this whole blogging thing doesn't work out, I'm going to apply for the job to be the guy that searches the Girls Gone Wild archive for celebrities. Of course if that "research" is anything like the video searches I do at home, I won't make it past the two and a half minute mark of the first tape. The saddest part of this story though is that Ashley probably gave up the chance for a million dollar payday in exchange for a free trucker hat, t-shirt, and syphilis from Joe Francis.
