Amy Winhouse dead at the age of 27

Amy Winehouse was found dead at her house in Northern London this morning. She was 27. According to police, the cause of death isn't immediately clear, but I think we can rule out a skateboarding accident. More on Monday . . .

Sky's home affairs correspondent Mark White says it is believed the singer died of a suspected drug overdose but officially her death is being treated as "unexplained." The London Ambulance Service was called to her flat just after 4pm but were unable to save her life. Sky sources said the singer was "beyond help" when paramedics arrived.

"On arrival, officers found the body of a 27-year-old female who was pronounced dead at the scene," a police statement said.

"Beyond help" when the paramedics arrived? She's been beyond help for years. So a lot like Lindsay Lohan's career.

Amy is said to be trying to get healthier than ever as she is hoping to have a child with boyfriend Reg Traviss. "Amy's obsessed with having children. It's all she's talking about right now. She is desperate to have a baby within the next year. Amy is doing everything she can to have kids. Because of the drugs and drinking, her body would not have been able to handle a baby. Now she's on the road to recovery and is turning things."

It's nice that Amy wants to start a family, but is there really a guy out there dumb enough to bang her without a condom? Not even one of the "Fukushima 50" would do that. Besides, even if Amy did have a kid, it would probably just end up registering for rehab the second it was done breastfeeding. Because if the leaking radiation at the nuclear reactor in Japan has taught us anything, it's that milk can remain tainted well after it's been exposed.

Before you dismiss this story about Amy Winehouse and her acting ambitions, keep in mind that famous retard Jessica Simpson has been in five movies -- including the 2004 TV movie Jessica where she played a character named Jessica Sampson. I kid you not. From UK tabloid The Daily Star:

A family friend told us: “Amy has enrolled for acting lessons at the Central School of Speech and Drama in north London. She’s a natural born drama queen and loves being the centre of attention. Everyone close to her thinks it’s a great idea and believes she could make the transition from singer to actress quite easily. Amy’s been saying for ages she’d like to live in LA and she would love more than anything to get involved in the acting scene in Hollywood.”   

This actually isn’t such a bad idea. In fact, I already have an idea for Amy’s first film: multiple cameras follow her around for 24 hours, filming her every move and action. From waking up to showering to her first shot of whiskey at 7am, it’s all captured. I already have a title, too: Saw VIII.

This week's "Amy Winehouse is a cracked-out nutjob" story is brought to us by The Sun:

Amy Winehouise was back in hospital [Tuesday] night suffering fresh agony from her new boobs - after she drunkenly fell and bruised them. Her injuries were described as "not serious" but her agent said: "She really likes the clinic so may stay a few days."

[A hospital source] said: "Amy was running up and down the corridors with her top off and reeking of booze. She has been heard complaining of pain caused by bruising on her breasts and around her ribs. The nurses had to step in and ask her to calm down. Eventually she had to be taken back to her room. The ward sister was absolutely fuming."

Another source said of the tumble: "She'd had a few. At first she thought she had broken something, so got her security to take her to hospital. The doctors were worried she might be concussed because she had a big bump on her head and a cut above her eye."

Amy had bruised ribs, a big bump on her head, and a gnarly cut over her eye? It doesn't sound like she was at home drinking alone -- it sounds like she was hanging out with Joe Francis. The fact that Amy "really likes the clinic" shouldn't be that surprising either -- it's the only place other than her medicine cabinet that has prescription pills available by the pallet.

Amy Winehouse's implants are killing her

Amy Winehouse was rushed to the hospital over the weekend with a case of broken boobs -- the first time she's ever been to a hospital conscious without a needle sticking out of her arm. From The Sun:

Terrified Amy Winehouse has been rushed to hospital with agonising pains from her boob implants. The 26-year-old Rehab singer was kept in overnight while doctors carried out urgent tests. She is now waiting to discover whether she must undergo corrective surgery - or even have the 32D implants removed.

A family friend said: "Amy was in agony and became convinced it was something to do with her boobs.

"She thought she would leave it for a while but the pain got worse. She went into the clinic on Thursday and they kept her under observation. She is waiting for a decision on whether the implants have to come out or not."

When Amy first got her implants, no one could figure out why a crack addict would care about getting new tits. Now it all makes sense: she wanted to improve her self-esteem appearance chances of scoring prescription painkillers. Of course if Amy really wants something to take away her pain forever, she doesn't need pills . . . she just needs a first class seat on a Polish airline.
