Well no sh*t, Penelope Cruz
Penelope Cruz out and about in Madrid (7/25)
I think this is quite obvious to anyone whose head started hurting after watching 10 seconds of one of her movies, but Penelope Cruz says English-language movies can be “difficult” to act in. From Contact Music:
The Spanish beauty spoke little English when she first began her film career and admits it can sometimes be hard working outside her native language because of the thought processes it involves.
She explained: “There is a part of your brain that has to stop when you’re acting. You have to be in the moment and dare to fly. Words can’t be on your mind. And yet, when you are working in a foreign language, you have to be thinking about the words every single second. It’s difficult, but I’m not complaining. It’s just the way it is.”
Awe, I wouldn’t worry if I was Penelope (actually if I were Penelope, I’d spend less time babbling and more time fondling my top notch boobs). Most of us have data phone and tablets, so as long as we have a connection to mother internet, we can Google Translate whatever gibberish falls out of those kissable lips. Now do me a favor and lift that top for Uncle Nick. Thank you.
