In Scientology circles, it's not polite to speak unless spoken to. Or, if you're Tom Cruise's rental son Connor, you just don't speak at all. From the Daily Telegraph:

His parents are two of the world's biggest movie stars yet Connor Cruise wants to make his own mark in music. The 17-year-old adopted son of Nicole Kidman and Tom Cruise is earning up to $10,000 a gig deejaying and is hoping to set up his own record label. Insider caught up with the teenager in Hollywood, but, oddly, the talented young Cruise couldn't speak for himself on the record.

Instead he watched on as his rep, Dave Osokow, did the talking for him. Osokow said: "His parents don't allow him to do interviews."

Look friends, nothing against Connor Cruise, but Tom is right to ban him from speaking publicly. Hell, I'd also take away his twitter account because the kid embarrasses himself. All the education afforded to this guy and he still has the thought process of a 9-year-old? Shameful, in my not so humble opinion. Remember his response to a friend's tweet earlier this year after the New England Patriots were humiliated by the N.Y. Giants for a second time? It was a beauty:

"That was a gay ass fucking tweet ... U don't say shit like that about my team the second they lose. Low"

Yeah, that's years of private schooling right there, folks. It was a sad response, especially considering that so many of the Patriots are gay. I'm kidding, I'm kidding . . . they just played gay.

Actually, if you see him minus the glasses, he looks remarkably like Tom (same eyes, same smile). The official line is he's adopted, me-thinks he IS Tom's biological son, just of a mother that is not Nicole. OH, The scandal!
