Gwyneth Paltrow arriving to the Louis Vuitton show during Paris Fashion Week (3/7)

The New York Times usually doesn't just make shit up, so I tend to believe their claim that Gwyneth Paltrow used ghostwriter Julia Turshen to help write My Father's Daughter, a cookbook featuring her family's recipes that was published last year:
Julia Turshen, who is writing a second cookbook with Gwyneth Paltrow after their collaboration on My Father’s Daughter, began as the ghostwriter for the ghostwriter on a book by Mario Batali, tagging along with a notebook as the chef filmed a culinary romp through Spain.
Gwyneth, on the other hand, believes that the New York Times apparently just makes shit up. She tweeted on Saturday:
Love @nytimes dining section but this weeks facts need checking. No ghost writer on my cookbook, I wrote every word myself.
Breaking News: Gwyneth Paltrow is short on brains. That pretty much sums her up. As Gwyneth will tell you, she's the smartest person in any room she graces with her presence, yet she doesn't see the gift the New York Times is giving her. Gwyn, they're trying to pass that godawful book of yours (aka "Shit I Stole from Food Network") on some other hack. Just play along, stupid. Ghostwriter or not, the fact is that some of "your" recipes are vomit-inducing, just like your singing, acting, and baby-naming ability.
