Reese Witherspoon out and about in Brentwood yesterday
No doubt to burn off the calories from the ice cream she ate earlier in the day (above), Reese Witherspoon went jogging yesterday in Santa Monica. She didn't quite finish the jog because some senior citizen ran her over. Aw man, I hate when that happens. From E!:

The car that hit Witherspoon, who was running within an unmarked crosswalk, was going approximately 20 miles per hour, police said.According to Reese's rep, she suffered no serious injuries and is "resting comfortably at home." Good to hear. It's important to keep your chin up in situations like these. Sets a good example for your kids. I just hope she's not afraid to go jogging again. If you take one in the chin like this, it's important to get out there as soon as possible again. You don't want to let it affect you . . . chin chin chin.
The driver was an 84-year-old woman who was interviewed at the scene and then cited for failing to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk. Witherspoon was transported via ambulance to a nearby hospital [and released].
