America . . . FUCK YEAH!

It's inspiring tales of altruism like this that have really endeared large corporations into the hearts and minds of all Americans. Ohhhhhh sayyyyy can you seeeeeeee, by the dawn's early light . . . From the Associated Press:
The Walt Disney Co. has applied for a trademark on the name "Seal Team 6," the name of the unit of specially trained Navy SEALs that killed Osama bin Laden in a raid in Pakistan earlier this month.

Three applications filed May 3 - the day after the raid - with the U.S. Patent and Trademark office by Disney Enterprises Inc. state an intention to use the mark for a range of products, including entertainment and education services, clothing, toys, games and Christmas stockings.
Wait a second, something's not right here. The company that made films like Snow White, Bambi, and Cinderella is planning on making a movie about a highly-trained team of killers? What kind of bizarro world are we living in? If I wanted to see a film that had a lot of explosions and bodies laying around everywhere, I wouldn't watch something made by Disney. I'd watch something made by VIVID.

The Navy doesn't have to file a patent in order to have trademark protection, that's not how it works in all cases.

Hey, if Disney was smart enough to file for trademark status, more power to them. It seems like the Navy was kind of stupid not to file for trademark. But, no one ever accused our military top brass of having a lot of smarts.

  • Gung how

If it wasn't for the president there would be no seal team six. He is the real hero here.

Hey gotta shut those GOPenises up somehow.

This is disgusting on so many levels but so is our first black president milking it for all it's worth.

  • Derpa derp

How the fuck is Obama milking this when it's Disney that filed trademarks? Dumbshit.
