Unless you've had your head buried in the sand the past few weeks, you've probably heard of Rebecca Black and her much-criticized song (but catchy as a motherfucker!) "Friday." Miley Cyrus has also heard it. Go ahead and guess how the spoiled little bitch feels about Rebecca. Go ahead. From an interview with the Sydney Daily Telegraph:

Catapulted to fame off the back of Disney's Hannah Montana, Cyrus slammed the overnight success of YouTube phenomenons such as Rebecca Black.

"It should be harder to be an artist. You shouldn't just be able to put a song on YouTube and go out on tour," the daughter of country star Billy Ray Cyrus said.

Miley does make a good point. She worked hard to be born to Billy Ray Cyrus. What do Rebecca's parents do? I bet they've never even been to the Grammys. Hah! Losers!

In all seriousness, shut the fuck up Miley. You're not exactly Pavarotti yourself. Seriously, watch both the videos below and tell me which one is dumber. You can't.

thing is is that Miley's video is like..... she's just a fricken whore now. Never really liked her, she can't act for shit and she's computer generated. I think we should give Rebecca Black a break though. bad song writing, i don't know who wrote it but it's a draft. first songs aren't easy and if you look at a lot of artists you realise that their song writing usually starts off bad then gets really good. I mean, Rebecca Black is younger than I am for Christs sake. and she just turned 14. give the kid a break. poor little thing. :( she seems really nice too. So i'd just lay off her. Yawn. Miley Cyrus has worked a job dilligently for the last few years. While having a father in the industry certainly has helped, but her fame and level of talent (whether you enjoy it or not) has already surpassed his.

What she has gotten - and yes, it is bubble gum pop - has been achieved by her own hard work, dedication, and talent.

The Rebecca Black video simply shows that a mother with money can purchase a fake opportunity for her daughter, autotune the hell out of her, and put her in a worldwide spot to fail. It is not Rebecca's fault - it is the mother's ill conceived notion that it takes little more than money and a good editor to make talent. She is the one who should be blamed.
