Sylvester Stallone at the premiere of The Mechanic at the ArcLight Cinerama Dome in Hollywood (1/26)

Who knew, but apparently Sylvester Stallone is a talented artist who's making some serious coin off of his paintings. Wait, what? From the New York Post:
At the opening of [Stalloone's] first exhibition at Galerie Gmurzynska in St. Moritz, the "Rambo" and "Rocky" action star was overheard saying he believes himself to be a much better painter than actor. The beefy Stallone said of his talents, "If you feel a passion for something, you can move mountains." Galerie Gmurzynska is showing 30 of Stallone's abstract works painted over the past 35 years, and nearly all of the works in the show have sold for prices ranging from $50,000 to $150,000.
Sly thinks he's a better painter than actor? That shouldn't be too hard. Sure the guy's probably the biggest action star in the history of cinema, but that's only because of steroids and a face that can contort more than a chick who just saw Seth Green naked for the first time. Besides, the fact that his paintings are selling for more than $50K just shows you that if a celebrity is involved with a product, anyone will buy it -- unless it's Edward James Olmos pitching Proactiv.

He is looking more and more like his mum every day!

    That's a bad hairpiece, brother.

  • Tony

Wrong, that is his real hair. He has touched up the grey a little bit.

Sly Stallone is one of the greatest actors of the last generation. He should have won Oscars many times over. His movies and the people he played always portrayed the real world. I can imagine he is also a talented artist.
