Lindsay Lohan hit and almost killed a baby last night as she was leaving her apartment in West Hollywood. And Lindsay be Lindsay, she sped away from the scene to happy hours unknown. Oh yeah, great decision letting her out of jail early. EXCEPT FOR OUR CHILDREN'S FUTURE. From Radar:

"There was a woman pushing a kid in the stroller, maybe a two or three-year-old, crossing the street," witness Brayan Jaime told RadarOnline.com, in an exclusive interview. "Lindsay took the red light and hit the stroller. It wasn't super hard, but she made impact and hit them. Lindsay pulled to the right, stopped for two seconds, and then just kept going.

"I'm 100 per cent sure Lindsay was driving because I saw her with my own eyes. I asked the kid if she was okay and then asked the woman, but she was kind of shocked and didn't really know what to say and you could tell she was scared."

"She was just driving like crazy once I started following her. She was trying to lose me, blowing stop signs and stuff."

"Lindsay was scared because she knew I saw what she did."

Things Lindsay Lohan has done since she got her license back last week:

1. Ran multiple red light
2. Ran multiple stop signs
3. Driven 120 mph on city streets (see here)
4. Hit a baby

Look, my friend Jack [Daniels] and I have done all four of those things at one time or another while driving, so I'm definitely not hear to judge Lindsay as a person. But I will say this: Lindsay Lohan is a horrible horrible person.

UPDATE: TMZ is now saying Lindsay "ever-so-slightly tapped" the stroller:

An eyewitness to the alleged Lindsay Lohan "hit-and-run" tells TMZ ... the photogs who sold the after-the-fact video are lying. The eyewitness -- a photographer -- says Lindsay was leaving her apartment building Wednesday (not yesterday) and was turning onto Holloway Drive with a green light. The photog says Lindsay "ever-so-slightly tapped the stroller -- like 1 mile an hour."

Well I think we all owe Lindsay a huge apology for overreacting. It's not like baby strollers are made of twigs and string. They can take a hit or two from a 4,000 pound car and be just fine thank you very much. Gosh, we are so hard on her sometimes.
