European people are so silly. They actually paid Pamela Anderson $18,000 to show up at a nightclub in London -- roughly $17,986 more than she normally gets here in America (bottle of Smirnoff). From Ace Showbiz:

Pamela Anderson picked up $18,000 for a one-night stand in London [last week], August 20. The former "Baywatch" pin-up, who is in the U.K. to promote her upcoming role in traditional Christmas pantomime "Aladdin", thrilled clubbers at Funky Mojoes in Essex when she showed up for the nightspot's two year anniversary celebrations. According to Britain's The People newspaper, Anderson took home a whopping $18,000 for simply sipping booze in the VIP room and posing for snaps with revelers.

Are we supposed to be surprised that people in Europe are still willing to pay to see Pamela Anderson in person? These are the same people that thought David Hasselhoff and the Spice Girls were musical geniuses. Besides, if Britons want to see a crusty old relic that hasn't worked in years, they don't have to pay $18K to see Pam Anderson. They can just go visit Stonehenge.
