That little Aryan princess Paris Hilton was caught doing a Nazi salute yesterday on a yacht in St. Tropez. And it also looks like she's giving herself a Hitler mustache with her finger. But it's all a big misunderstanding, according to her rep:

"Paris was dancing and having fun with her arm up in the air as she always dances like that and was scratching [her] face when a photo was taken. The hat was not a communist hat, its a military style hat from a club. Half of her family is Jewish and many of her friends are as well. You are a complete fucking idiot if you believe what I just wrote."

OK, I might have added that last line, but seriously, did Paris Hilton's rep really just play the "She can't possibly hate Jewish people because she has Jewish friends" card? Paris has a checking account right? Well then of course she has Jewish friends. They control the banks you know. Why do you think Mel Gibson has $15 million buried in jars in his backyard?

I know this isn't really the point of the article, but her publicist/spokesperson/whatever states that the "hat was not a communist hat". Ugh! Nazis are not communists, they were facists which is a little different in that its the EXACT OPPOSITE. Sorry, rant over.

It is also and ancient Roman salute. Gladiators used to salute Ceasar like that. Paris may be imitating an American Gladiator, or she may just be dancing around having a good time. Why not pick on someone more deserving like, Sean Penn.

I'm sure Paris is a student of ancient history and knows this would be a salute from a gladiator and not a salute to the Nazi party. Or maybe it's just that Paris is not a fan of being 30 and ugly in a world full of 18-year-olds who get attention for being attractive and/or talented.
