Aw dammit. Roughly 4 minutes after Judge Marsha "Badass" Revel bitch-slapped Lindsay Lohan with a 90-day sentence yesterday, a Sheriff's spokesman announced that she probably wouldn't serve the full sentence. From the L.A. Times:
Los Angeles County Sheriff's spokesman Steve Whitmore said women sent to jail for nonviolent crimes generally serve 25% or less of their sentence due to overcrowding. Whitmore said the exact time served can depend on the wording of the judge's order and the level of overcrowding in the jails.

"A person [of] such notoriety will be kept away from the general population," Whitmore said outside of court.

Lohan will serve her time in Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood. She is scheduled to begin her sentence on July 20.
23 days? Oh c'mon, aren't there a few violent gang members we can cut loose so Lindsay can serve the full 90 days? What's the worse thing they'd do? Kill each other? Oh no, what a terrible loss for society.

    23 hours is too much. Lindsay will become a convict. Cannot something be done to stop this miscarriage of justice. Linsay is a too tender and sensative to be subjected to jail.
