Kendall says she wasn't trying to be racy

Ever since Kim and Kourtney Kardashian posted some modeling pictures of their 14-year-old sister Kendall on their respective blogs, controversy has raged. Is Kendall too young to be taking these types of provocative pictures? How young is too young? Was she pressured into doing the shoot by her fame-hungry sisters? Why do all their names start with K? Kendall told People:
"I am excited to be working as a model, doing what I love to do. My entire family was very supportive, though my dad [Bruce Jenner] was a bit concerned at first, he knows that I am responsible enough that I wouldn’t do anything I wasn’t ready to do, or didn’t want to do.

"Going into this shoot, it was never my intention to be provocative or too racy. It was a beach shoot, and I was wearing beachwear. I am happy with my age, and am not trying to rush into anything too soon. I look forward to all the milestones my teens have to offer-Sweet 16, turning 18, and so on."
Kendall has this all wrong and her comments just serve to drive home her immaturity and youthful naiveté. I don't blame her for this controversy. I blame society as a whole for cultivating an atmosphere of perverse sexualization where even 14-year-old girls feel pressured to meet the unreasonable standard of what's considered desirable by men twice their age. Nah I'm totally kidding. I blame her parents. You suck.

    Anonymous, do me a favor? Put your left hand on your keyboard, with one finger on the each of the A, S, D, and F keys. Now, move your left pinkie finger to the left, exactly one space. It should be resting on what's called the "caps lock" key. Put pressure on that key enough so that you can type WITHOUT EVERYTHING YOU TYPE BEING LOCKED IN CAPS. I have seen a lot of teen ads in magazine of all kinds and guess what? Yah, this type is racy. This is Victoria's Secret type of shoots. Kim is known for being overtly sexy, sometimes to the point of just classless. Khloe is in close behind Kim. Kourtney is kinda boring but close behind. Their mom pushes them into doing Playboy and other seminude shots....so oh no, why on earth would this daughter think it was racy? Just another day in the Kardashian family.
