Paris Hilton is reviving her pop career with a new single - and is modelling herself on Kylie Minogue. The heiress, whose brief pop career flopped a few years ago, has recorded a single inspired by the pop princess, 42, and is releasing an album.

Paris, 28, said: "I've always loved Kylie Minogue. She's one of my favourite artists. I've been really inspired by her. I wanted my music to kind of emulate her. I love her sound and I love the way she is. I've finished recording my record. It's like dance or club music. The album's going to be out in a few months."

Obviously Paris didn't learn from her past mistakes. When your last album was a bigger bomb than both Fat Man and Little Boy, it's time to reevaluate your singing "career." Besides, I'm sure Kylie Minogue doesn't want to be known as the person who "inspired" Paris Hilton to record another album. Having that little nugget on your resume is almost as toxic as having a Liberal Arts degree.

Kendall Jenner is 14, in a bikini 

Ever since Kim and Kourtney Kardashian posted some modeling pictures of their 14-year-old sister Kendall on their respective blogs, controversy has raged. Is Kendall too young to be taking these types of provocative pictures? How young is too young? Was she pressured into doing the shoot by her fame-hungry sisters? Why do all their names start with K? Kendall told People:

"I am excited to be working as a model, doing what I love to do. My entire family was very supportive, though my dad [Bruce Jenner] was a bit concerned at first, he knows that I am responsible enough that I wouldn’t do anything I wasn’t ready to do, or didn’t want to do.

"Going into this shoot, it was never my intention to be provocative or too racy. It was a beach shoot, and I was wearing beachwear. I am happy with my age, and am not trying to rush into anything too soon. I look forward to all the milestones my teens have to offer-Sweet 16, turning 18, and so on."

Kendall has this all wrong and her comments just serve to drive home her immaturity and youthful naiveté. I don't blame her for this controversy. I blame society as a whole for cultivating an atmosphere of perverse sexualization where even 14-year-old girls feel pressured to meet the unreasonable standard of what's considered desirable by men twice their age. Nah I'm totally kidding. I blame her parents. You suck.

Did Tyson Beckford bang Miss USA Rima Fakih last week in New York? If you believe in extremely large leaps of assumption based on a very tenuous connection, you better believe it buddy. From the New York Post:

It's love stories like these that get me all warm and tingly inside. From the New York Post:

Things were not looking too happy for TV couple Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick. Kardashian was spotted walking five steps behind Disick on their way into Southampton eatery Sant Ambroeus Sunday. Then they sat in silence. When we asked about their weekend, Kardashian snapped, "It was fine."

This doesn't sound good. I mean, if a self-absorbed douche and his attention-whoring wife can't make it in this cruel world, what hope is there for the rest of us? If Kourtney wants this relationship to last, she's going to have to start doing things to keep Scott interested -- like becoming a different random bar slut every night or wearing a mirror over her face when they have sex.
