There is now. The Christians were driven out and the Muslims, under Syria, now run the place. Lebanon is a puppet state for Syria, and Iran.

As I understand it her family emigrated to the US when she was a baby in order to escape or avoid Sharia law. They're Muslims, but not extremists. I could be wrong, but that's what I read.
