Scarlett Johansson's house at 7222 Senalda Rd. in Los Angeles

In 2007, Scarlett Johansson purchased a pretty kick-ass Spanish Villa in the Hollywood Hills for a mere $7,000,000. After spending untold thousands on renovations, she listed it for sale last week. For $4,950,000. Ouch. In 2007, I rented a studio apartment in a violent section of San Diego for $400/mo. In the three years that I've been living here -- though I did install a pretty nice shelving unit from IKEA -- I have not lost over $2,000,000. My dignity? Yes. $2,000,000? No. Winner: Me.

    lol at you, you moron.

Bush, Greenspan and his cronies ran the country without supervision for six years. Nothing could have saved Fanny or Freddie after the housing bubble expanded the way it did. While I don't feel sorry for Scarlett, who has the earning power to take the loss, millions of people who got sucked into the bubble don't.

The Republicans are 90% responsible for the economic woes in this country. So go suck.

And you think the state of the economy and loss of value of California homes is not because of politics? Get real, wake up and smell the garlic.

America deserves the financial mess you are in. A country of hatred.

Blame her loss on George Bush. It was because of GWB and radical republicans that the housing market tanked and the economy is so bad. Our President feels her pain, and wishes he could do something to help people like Scarlett, that suffered because of the past decade of waste and fraud.
