Brittany Murphy's cause of death revealed

In an interview with the Associated Press last month, Brittany Murphy's mom Sharon said this:
"She had a fear of dying. She would not take too much caffeine. She wouldn’t even have a glass of champagne on New Year’s. She was just high on life, and people see that as something else I guess."
Roughly a week later, in an interview with The Daily Beast, Brittany's widow Simon Monjack said this:
"In all the time I’ve known her, she has never, and I repeat NEVER, done drugs. Not a line of cocaine, not a hit from a joint, nothing. She was anti-drugs. There are no drugs involved. If any were, I would not be on the phone with you."
Today, in an interview with People magazine, Ed Winter of the Los Angeles County Coroner's Office said this:
"This death could've been preventable. Murphy was planning on seeing a doctor, but she unfortunately passed away before she did. This was a case of a person with pneumonia who was anemic (having a low blood count) who was taking medication when she should've been getting medical treatment."

Winter confirms that no illegal drugs were found in the actress's system: "It was only prescription and over-the-counter meds," he said.
Hah, I told you Simon was right! Besides the drugs she was taking when she died, Brittany wasn't taking any drugs when she died! It feels so good to be vindicated. Like a massage chair with five intensity levels and added heat.

Prescription drugs are the best drugs on the market for people who like to get high. Excellent quality control, easy to get, and completely legal with a doctors' prescription. Who needs to abuse illegal drugs when we have legal drugs?

A prescription drug addict is every bit of a drug addict as someone who shoots heroin on an alley.

I'm sure her anemia / iron deficiency had nothing to do with an eating disorder, either.

Another condition that was untreated because she was not receiving health care and/or she had no health insurance. If we had national health insurance, Brittnay might be alive today. We need the government watching over the health of our celebs, they are a vital national resource.

If Simon told me today was Thursday, I'd still check the calendar.

Why we need national health care, so more celebs don't die of everyday disease.

Pneumonia is treatable, but the poor thing was without heathcare and could not get this simple condition treated.

Tell Congress we need national health care at once. we cannot afford to have our celebs dying like this.

yeah, we really need celebrities, I can't live another day knowing the fucking sham-wow guy is dead.

Pretty sure he was talking about illegal drugs.

I like how it's okay to overdose on prescription or over the counter drugs now. As long as these people aren't dying on a street corner like River Phoenix it's perfectly acceptable, huh?

Alcohol is legal and you can still drink yourself to death with it. Plus they have support groups for alcohol ADDICTION. I'm sorry, but Heath Ledger and Murphy were addicts no matter the type of drug. In a back ally or a penthouse it's all the same.
