Jamie Lynn Spears is an underage drinker

Santa was very good to Jamie Lynn Spears. He brought her a raging hangover. From Star (yes I know this story is 3 weeks old, but Star just published it):
Little sis Jamie Lynn rocked a long black wig as she partied with friends at Atlas Bar in Hammond, La., on Christmas Day. Despite her disguise, the 18-year-old’s cover was blown when she got carded at the door.

“The bouncer told everyone who she was,” a fellow partier tells Star.

But Jamie Lynn's underage status didn’t ruin her time.

“She had a friend who was over 21 buy her shots and drinks,” says the source.

She and her group of girlfriends kept things chill, dancing together until 1:30 in the morning, with no Casey Aldridge in sight.
Can you really blame Jamie Lynn for wanting to blow off some steam? She was probably exhausted from spending all day letting the nanny take care of her kid. It must be comforting for Jamie Lynn to know that she's facing the same problem that many other Hollywood stars like Jeremy Piven, Ben Affleck, and Sean Connery faced at the age of 18: getting carded having a kid having to wear a hairpiece.

I can remember when the drinking age in many states was 18. Then the feds got involved and screwed up everyones fun.

And did you get knocked up at (((16))) and have a baby when you were out under-aged drinking???????????

Making drinking illegal under 21 only increases the appeal of doing it (see any college campus.)

Plus making alcohol so hard for kids to get, only increases the chances that they will be exposed to drugs sooner.
