Harrison Ford leaving a gym in Santa Monica (12/21/09)

Not content with raping every childhood memory I had of Indiana Jones in the 2008 travesty that was Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, Harrison Ford is coming back for more. NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!! From the Chicago Sun Times:
While in town promoting his new film "Extraordinary Measures," Harrison Ford said he's big on the idea of a fifth "Indiana Jones" flick.

"I'd be quite happy to do it. One of the ambitions I've always had for the series is that we advance the audience's sense of the character. . . . With the addition of a son and a wife and those two terrific actors [Shia LaBeouf and Karen Allen] it would be fun to explore that and those relationships."

Ford said George Lucas is "working on an idea [for a fifth film], and if it doesn't take him 18 years this time, we'll likely do it."
Sorry Harrison. No one goes to an Indiana Jones movie to see "character development" or the "relationship" between family members. They go to see booby traps, chase scenes, and Nazis getting their asses kicked. Besides, if we really wanted to watch some old dude past his prime awkwardly trying to raise a family, we wouldn't need to go see another Indiana Jones movie. We could just turn on an old episode of Jon & Kate Plus 8.
