Madonna, 51, had signed a £6.5 million deal with the luxury brand in 2008. It was a figure that surpassed even supermodel Kate Moss. As part of the contract the singer modelled the spring/summer 09 collection for Louis Vuitton after its creative director Marc Jacobs was "blown away" by her Paris concert.

But she has parted ways with the design powerhouse as they bring in 25-year-old model Lara Stone, who is also David Walliam's new girlfriend, to take over the reins. Marc Jacobs told a UK magazine: "To model the clothes, we wanted a modern, iconic, sexy beauty... It had to be Lara Stone."

Strange that Louis Vuitton would drop Madonna . . . you'd think they'd want to be associated with leather bags -- *rimshot* -- I kid, I kid. In all seriousness, she disgusts me.

Who could possibly be more iconic than Madonna? Surely not some 25-year-old no one has ever heard of! I never thought I'd defend Madonna, but when she gets dumped because she's NOT somebody's newest girlfriend, and her age is the excuse,

Madonna did a great campaign for LV, sold lots of bags and shoes for them, got paid more than anyone, and now they are using the next model... Louise is correct. She did her gig; now it is over. She did not get dumped. She looks great in the ads and in these photos.

...and did you see the concert? Amazing. Why trash successful people? Make up lies about them. madonna is a success and will continue to be.

She did not get dumped! How stupid.

She was hired for one season. Then that was very successful (everything she wore in the ads sold-out) that she was hired again for another season, but the initial agreement was only for one season. Now she's working with D&G.
