What kind of Valentine's Day present makes up for holding a knife to your wife's throat and threatening to kill her? An island? A planet? Because it emerged yesterday that Charlie Sheen did more than just threaten his wife Brooke Mueller with a knife on Christmas morning. He pinned her down and held it to her damn throat. Charming. Charlie Sheen's wife has told Aspen police the actor pinned her on a bed, put a knife to her throat and threatened to kill her after she said she wanted a divorce.

An arrest warrant affidavit released Monday quotes Brooke Mueller Sheen as saying the actor told her, "You better be in fear. If you tell anybody, I'll kill you."

In a 911 call released Monday, a woman who identifies herself as Sheen's wife says she feared for her life.

A divorce? A guy parties with strippers in Vegas while you're bedridden in the hospital with pregnancy complications ONE TIME and suddenly he's this huge asshole who you don't want to spend the rest of your life with. I think I speak for everyone here in saying that Brooke needs to lighten up.
