The report explains that the victim was "ejected" from his bike and fell onto the street. Cops say he was eventually transported to a nearby hospital for minor injuries. Cops then suspected that Dekker had been drinking and arrested him for "DUI resulting in an injury to a party involved in a traffic collision."In Thomas' defense, if this kid on the bike didn't want to be hit, he shouldn't have been riding on the sidewalk.
Dekker was arrested and transported to Van Nuys jail where he was released early this morning on $100,000 bail.
He is a well known celeb. Cut him some slack. Celebs and politicians don't have to live by and obey, the same rules/laws that the little people do. The biker should not have gotten in his way.
I guess the kid didn't get the memo about drunken celeb having the right of way at all times.
The kid that got hit should expect a nice little payday after this.
Dekker looks like the type of guy who would have a good time in prison.
Rumour has it, he's a flesh cigar smoker.
