Sean Penn outside the Mercer Hotel in New York (9/13)

Do not fuck with Sean Penn or HE WILL PUT YOU IN A BOX. Wait, what? That actually sounds kinda fun. Especially if it's one of those huge boxes that refrigerators come in. Word on the street is you can build a pretty kick-ass fort out of those. From E!:

Flynet Pictures is claiming that the two-time Oscar winner "attacked" one of its shooters. Penn, the agency alleges, "emerged from his truck and walked over 50 feet towards the photog and kicked and punched him without provocation. Penn also berated the photog with obscenities and shouted that he would 'put you in a box' to the photog before going back to his house."

The photog "suffered multiple cuts and bruises from the attack, has filed a police report and is considering pressing charges for battery."

Can you really blame Sean for lashing out like that? You'd be angry too if you asked a paparazzo to lift you up so you could put some change in the meter, and he just laughed at you. Of course the real explanation for Sean's outburst may be that communists just don't believe in freedom of the press. Either way, I think we all know now that when it comes to Sean Penn and cameras, never put one in front of his face -- unless he's getting paid.
